Revel Named One of West Michigan’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For the Fifth Time

Revel has been named one of West Michigan’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in 2021. This marks the fifth year that Revel has received this honor.

The Muskegon-based marketing agency is set apart by its 3-Way Test for creating memorable marketing campaigns and a thriving company culture: Good for the Customer, Good for the Company, Good for You. This third essential element – Good for You – ensures that the people who work at Revel experience every day just how valuable they are.

Revel Creative Director, Pete Lounsbury, notes that the people who work at Revel care about each other and like working together. “It sounds cliché, but we are kind of like family here,” he says. “The marketing or advertising/design industry is notorious for big egos and pretentiousness. There’s none of that here at Revel. We’ve got a very talented team, but we’re also a very humble, honest, and down-to-earth group of people.”

The West Michigan Best and Brightest Award is given to organizations that excel in categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and more.

“Throughout the year, the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® have demonstrated leadership and forward-thinking as they pivoted their business and workforce through Covid-19,” said Jennifer Kluge, president and CEO of the Best and Brightest Programs. “As the conversation and focus has shifted, our Best and Brightest winning companies have also been a voice for important actions regarding race relations employee wellbeing. In these unique times, the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® excel and share their knowledge with others.”

Cindy Huston, Web Manager at Revel, is quick to highlight just how committed Revel has been to its employees’ wellbeing during the months of the pandemic. “I appreciate their dedication to making sure that we all had the technology resources needed to do our job from home, and that they were really committed to keeping the team in touch and promoting the culture with the virtual happy hours and trivia events,” she says. “The gift boxes during the pandemic and at the holidays were a really nice way for the firm to say ‘thanks for hanging in there!’”

Revel and other companies selected for this award will be honored in a virtual celebration on  Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 10 a.m.
